What is Garage Social Club?
Garage Social Club is a skill network for friends, garage accomplices, and collaborators from around the world. It's not about buzzwords, titles, or "interests," but about what you can actually do: skills.
We're building a place – digital, currently in beta – for people who like cultural niche projects and take on tasks that go beyond everyday life: testing ideas, building things, giving form, rethinking, and consistently implementing them.
How It Works
- You create a profile, showcase work examples, and offer your skills.
- Others post project ideas and find the right collaborators through the network.
- We think in projects, not news: less noise, more initiatives.
What We Are (and What We're Not)
Important: We are not a company, not an agency, not a service provider. Garage Social Club is more like a siding for the best – for people who keep their cool and still have room for the most crooked (and best) ideas. Projects emerge here from intrinsic motivation and necessity, not from obligation.
Our approach: live and let live. This also means: we don't endlessly repeat attitude routines, but consciously shape our collaboration and environment.
Garage Social Club is connected in spirit and origin to the Hermeneutic Garage – as an attitude, as a reference. The network itself, however, is purely digital.
Membership
Free. Donations are welcome. If not, that's fine too. The main thing is that you bring skills, attitude, and enthusiasm for projects.
Was ist Garage Social Club?
Garage Social Club ist ein Skill-Netzwerk für Freund:innen, Garagen-Kompliz:innen und Kollaborateur:innen aus der ganzen Welt. Es geht nicht um Buzzwords, Titel oder „Interests", sondern um das, was du wirklich kannst: Skills.
Wir bauen einen Ort – digital, aktuell in Beta – für Menschen, die kulturelle Nischenprojekte mögen und Aufgaben übernehmen, die über den Alltag hinausgehen: Ideen testen, Dinge bauen, Form geben, neu denken und sie konsequent umsetzen.
So funktioniert's
- Du legst ein Profil an, zeigst Arbeitsbeispiele und bietest deine Skills an.
- Andere posten Projektideen und finden über das Netzwerk die passenden Mitstreiter:innen.
- Wir denken Projekte statt News: weniger Lärm, mehr Vorhaben.
Was wir sind (und was nicht)
Wichtig: Wir sind keine Firma, keine Agentur, kein Dienstleister. Der Garage Social Club ist eher ein Abstellgleis für die Besten – für Leute, die die Nerven behalten und trotzdem Platz haben für die schiefsten (und besten) Ideen. Projekte entstehen hier aus eigenem Antrieb und aus Notwendigkeit, nicht aus Pflichtgefühl.
Unser Anspruch: leben und leben lassen. Heisst auch: Wir wiederholen Haltungs-Routinen nicht endlos, sondern gestalten unsere Zusammenarbeit und unser Umfeld bewusst mit.
Der Garage Social Club ist in Geist und Herkunft an die Hermeneutische Garage angebunden – als Haltung, als Referenz. Das Netzwerk selbst ist jedoch rein digital.

Kostenlos. Spenden sind willkommen. Wenn nicht, auch gut. Hauptsache, du bringst Skills, Haltung und Lust auf Projekte mit.
